How to Write Your Wedding Speech with Ease
The last thing you remembered about public speaking was when you were in school and the rest is history, now you are getting nervous how you will deliver your speech on your own wedding day. Most memorable weddings I attended to are the ones that make me cry. The joys I feel by the words delivered by the wedded couple during their wedding speeches are very touching that I can relate to how they feel to each other. If you are marrying and thinking what to say on your wedding speech then you should not worry because it is the easiest speech among others. Wedding speech should not suppose to be flowery, they should be speeches of love, and thankfulness. Here is a small trick to help you prepare:
Outline your Keypoints
As with the other speeches you have to decide on what keypoints to talk about, it should not be very lengthy and very formal. You can just emphasize one or two points to deliver a wedding speech.
Use Funny Lines
The ones I like about wedding speeches is the chance of knowing how the two wedded couples met, and their funny antics about their being together. Share some funny experiences you had with your partner and sometimes it helps to joke on why you actually ended up marrying each other.
Never Forget to Say Thank you
Your speech should contain a thank you’s to all the people you are indebted with and of course your message to your partner and if you want to your partner’s relatives. You should also express you gratitude for your principal sponsors, your parents and your guests for coming and sharing a special event of your life.
Smile or Cry if you Feel You Want to
You may get carried away by the happiness you feel inside you may want to smile, or perhaps laugh aloud or cry, it is all up to you, never withhold your emotions just because you are in front of many people. Remember that these people are only sharing with you on your special moment and any happiness you feel they also are happy for you.
